Alex Taylor is the author of three books: the story collection The Name of the Nearest River, and the novels The Marble Orchard and Le sang ne suffit pas. A recipient of the Chaffin Award for Appalachian Literature, he lives in Grayson, Kentucky, with his wife and daughter.
